Materials needed:

  • Worsted weight yarn in the color of your choice
  • Crochet hook (size G or H)

Step 2: Single crochet in the second chain from the hook, and in each chain across. Chain one and turn your work.

Step 3: Single crochet in each stitch across the row. Chain one and turn your work.

Step 4: Repeat step 3 until the piece measures 6 inches long.

Step 5: For the yoke, fold the piece in half lengthwise and mark the center stitch. This is where you'll begin the yoke.

Step 7: Single crochet in each stitch across the row. Chain one and turn your work.

Step 10: Single crochet in each stitch across the row, making sure to single crochet over the chain-5 space. Chain one and turn your work.
