One of the most popular designs is the zig-zag hole lined pattern. In this blog post, we will discuss how to create this stylish scarf design for girls.

Materials:

  • 1 skein of yarn (color of your choice)

Instructions:

Step 1: Cast on 30 stitches using the long-tail cast-on method.

Step 2: Knit the first 4 rows in garter stitch (knit every stitch).

Step 3: Begin the zig-zag pattern by knitting the first 3 stitches. Then, slip the next stitch purl-wise and bring the yarn to the front of the work. Slip the same stitch back to the left needle, and bring the yarn to the back of the work. Knit the next 5 stitches. Repeat this pattern until the last 3 stitches, then knit those stitches.

Step 4: Knit the next 3 rows in garter stitch.

Step 5: Begin the hole lined model by knitting the first 3 stitches. Then, yarn over, and knit the next 2 stitches together. Repeat this pattern until the last 3 stitches, then knit those stitches.

Step 6: Knit the next 3 rows in garter stitch.

Step 7: Repeat steps 3-6 until the scarf reaches your desired length.

Step 8: Knit the last 4 rows in garter stitch.

Step 9: Bind off all stitches and weave in any loose ends.

Conclusion:

With just a few simple steps, you can create a stylish zig-zag hole lined scarf design for girls. This pattern is easy to follow and can be customized with different yarn colors to suit your personal style.
