Tender pork chops are surrounded by a creamy mushroom sauce with sweet onion, thyme, and nutty melted Swiss cheese.

Slow Cooker Alpine Pork Chops Ingredients:

4 Smithfield Fresh Pork boneless center-cut loin chops, 6 ounces each, thawed with visible fat trimmed
1 10.5-ounce can Campbell’s Heart Healthy Cream of Mushroom Soup
½ cup Swanson Unsalted Chicken Broth
6 slices Sargento Ultra Thin Swiss Natural Cheese, finely chopped
1 small Melissa’s yellow onion, 4 ounces, finely chopped
2 Spice World fresh garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon McCormick dried thyme
1 teaspoon Pompeian Smooth Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Slow Cooker Alpine Pork Chops Directions:

Pat the thawed pork chops dry and season both sides with ¼ teaspoon McCormick ground black pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Brown the pork chops for 2 minutes per side.
Stir the mushroom soup, chicken broth, onion, garlic, and thyme together in a 4-to-6-quart slow cooker.
Nestle the browned pork chops into the sauce.
Cover and cook on low for 2½ to 3½ hours, until the thickest part of each pork chop reaches at least 145°F.
Transfer the pork chops to a plate and let them rest for 3 minutes.
Stir the chopped Swiss cheese into the hot sauce until completely melted and smooth.
Return the pork chops to the sauce and serve warm.
