Stir gently until the mixture looks glossy and syrupy.
Add the banana slices to the slow cooker.
Gently fold the bananas into the syrup without mashing them.
Cover and cook on LOW for 25 to 35 minutes, until the bananas are warm, tender, and lightly caramelized but still hold their shape.
Switch the slow cooker to WARM.
Gently spoon the syrup over the bananas before serving.
Serve warm.
