Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Balsamic Shredded Beef Directions:

Pat the chuck roast dry with paper towels and trim large exterior fat pieces.
Place the roast flat in a 6-quart slow cooker.
Whisk beef broth, balsamic vinegar, and brown sugar in a 2-cup measuring cup until smooth.
Pour the mixture evenly over and around the roast, turning once to coat all sides.
Cover with the lid and cook on LOW for 9 hours or on HIGH for 4 1/2 hours.
Shred the beef directly in the slow cooker using two forks once fork-tender.
Stir the shredded beef into the cooking liquid until evenly coated.
Cook uncovered on HIGH for 20 minutes to slightly reduce the sauce.
Serve 1 portion as 4 oz cooked shredded beef with 2 tbsp sauce.
