Cool the cake in the pan for 15 minutes.
Invert the cake carefully onto a wire rack.
Brush the warm cake evenly with the melted butter.
Stir the granulated sugar and cinnamon together.
Sprinkle and gently press the cinnamon sugar evenly over the buttered surface.
Cool for 20 minutes before cutting into 12 equal slices.
