To get started with two needles knitting, you'll need to cast on your stitches.

To do this, hold one needle in your right hand and the other in your left hand. Tie a slipknot in your yarn and place it on the right-hand needle. Then, wrap the yarn around the left-hand needle and pull it through the loop on the right-hand needle. This is the first stitch of your project.

Continue casting on stitches until you have the desired number on both needles. Once you have your stitches cast on, you can begin knitting or purling your stitches.

To knit a stitch, insert the right-hand needle into the first stitch on the left-hand needle from front to back. Wrap the yarn around the right-hand needle and pull it through the stitch. Slip the stitch off the left-hand needle and onto the right-hand needle. This is one completed knit stitch.

To purl a stitch, insert the right-hand needle into the first stitch on the left-hand needle from back to front. Wrap the yarn around the right-hand needle and pull it through the stitch. Slip the stitch off the left-hand needle and onto the right-hand needle. This is one completed purl stitch.

Continue knitting or purling your stitches until your project is the desired length. Once you're finished, cast off your stitches by knitting the first two stitches, then slipping the first stitch over the second stitch and off the needle. Continue knitting and slipping stitches until you reach the end of the row.

With a little practice, you can create a variety of simple and easy knitting patterns using two needles. You can experiment with different stitch patterns, such as the garter stitch, stockinette stitch, and seed stitch, to create different textures and designs.
