Two needles easy knitting pattern

SUBSCRIBE

Here's a simple and easy knitting pattern using two needles:

Materials:

Two wooden needles (or chopsticks)

Yarn of your choice

Scissors

Instructions:

Cast on your stitches: Tie a slipknot around one needle and hold the needles parallel to each other. Then, using the yarn, create a loop around both needles and pull it through the slipknot. Repeat until you have the desired number of stitches.

Knit your stitches: Hold one skewer in each hand, with the working yarn at the back of your work. Insert the right-hand skewer into the first stitch on the left-hand needle, going from front to back. Wrap the yarn around the right-hand skewer, then pull it through the stitch on the left-hand needle. Slide the stitch off the left-hand skewer and onto the right-hand needle. Repeat until all stitches have been worked.

Repeat rows: Continue knitting every row until you reach the desired length.

Cast off: To cast off your stitches, knit the first two stitches as usual. Insert the left-hand needle into the first stitch on the right-hand needle, lift it over the second stitch and off the needle. Knit the next stitch, then lift the previous stitch over it and off the needle. Repeat until all stitches have been worked.

This simple pattern creates a basic garter stitch, which is a fabric created by knitting every row. You can experiment with different yarns and colors to create a variety of items, such as scarves, dishcloths, or even small blankets.

Once you feel comfortable with this pattern, you can try adding in other stitches, such as purl stitches, to create more complex designs.
