  • Heat a large pot over medium heat and coat with cooking spray.
  • Add diced onions and sauté until softened, about 4 minutes.
  • Stir in garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Add the ground turkey, cooking until browned and no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if desired). Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  • Add broken lasagna noodles and cook for 10–12 minutes or until tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Add spinach in the last 2 minutes to wilt.
