Sticky Chinese Pork Loin with Low-Sugar Barbecue Sauce Directions:

  • Spray a large pan with non-stick spray and heat over medium heat.
  • Add the pork loin pieces to the pan and sear them until they are browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove the pork loin from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the garlic and ginger. Sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  • Stir to combine, making sure the pork loin is coated in the sauce.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer uncovered for about 1-1.5 hours, or until the pork loin is tender and the sauce has thickened to a sticky consistency.
  • Adjust seasoning if necessary.
