Sour Cream Beef Noodle Casserole Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and onion and cook for 8 minutes until beef is fully cooked.

  • Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  • Stir in tomato sauce and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.

  • Cook egg noodles in salted boiling water according to package directions. Drain completely.

  • In a large bowl, mix sour cream and cottage cheese. Add cooked noodles and stir until evenly coated.

  • Spread half of the noodle mixture into the baking dish. Top with half of the meat sauce.

  • Add remaining noodle mixture, then remaining meat sauce.
