Sour Cream Beef Noodle Casserole Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and onion and cook for 8 minutes until beef is fully cooked.

Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Stir in tomato sauce and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.

Cook egg noodles in salted boiling water according to package directions. Drain completely.

In a large bowl, mix sour cream and cottage cheese. Add cooked noodles and stir until evenly coated.

Spread half of the noodle mixture into the baking dish. Top with half of the meat sauce.

Add remaining noodle mixture, then remaining meat sauce.

Sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
