Scatter unwrapped soft caramels evenly over the top.
Cover with lid and cook on LOW for 2 hours.
Keep lid closed during cooking.
Stir with a whisk for 2 minutes until fully smooth and glossy.
For a marbled effect, stop stirring before fully combined and swirl the top with the back of a spoon.
Turn slow cooker to WARM setting.
Prop lid slightly with a spoon to prevent condensation buildup.
Stir every 15 minutes while serving.
Serve warm directly from slow cooker.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Reheat on LOW in slow cooker for 30 minutes, stirring until smooth.
