Slow Cooker Amish Garlic Butter Chicken Noodles Directions:
Add the diced chicken breast to a 6-quart slow cooker and spread it into an even layer.
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat or in a microwave-safe bowl until fully liquid.
Stir the minced garlic into the melted butter until evenly combined.
Pour the garlic butter evenly over the chicken.
Pour the chicken broth over the chicken and butter mixture.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or on HIGH for 2 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
Uncover, stir gently, and add salt and black pepper if desired.
Add the uncooked egg noodles and press them down into the hot liquid.
Cover again and cook on HIGH for 25 minutes, stirring once after 12 minutes, until the noodles are tender.
Stir gently to combine the chicken, noodles, and buttery broth.
Serve hot in 8 portions, about 1 1/4 cups each.
