Slow Cooker Amish Cabbage Noodles Directions:

Lightly coat the inside of a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker with nonstick spray.
Place half of the sliced cabbage evenly on the bottom of the slow cooker.
Spread half of the uncooked wide egg noodles evenly over the cabbage.
Drizzle half of the melted light butter evenly over the layer and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon black pepper.
Repeat with the remaining cabbage, remaining noodles, remaining melted butter, and remaining black pepper.
Cover with the lid and cook on HIGH for 2 hours 30 minutes or on LOW for 4 hours.
After 2 hours on HIGH or 3 hours 30 minutes on LOW, gently toss the mixture using tongs to ensure even coating and tenderness.
If needed, continue cooking in 20-minute increments until the noodles are fully tender.
Switch to WARM and serve 1 1/2 cups per serving.
