  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Roll the crescent rolls out flat on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise.

  • Cook the ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned. Drain any excess fat and allow to cool slightly.

  • In a medium bowl, combine the cooled sausage, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and pepper. Mix until smooth and evenly blended.

  • Spoon a small portion of the sausage mixture onto the widest end of each crescent dough piece.

  • Roll each piece from the wide end toward the narrow tip to enclose the filling.
