Pork Chop and Sauerkraut Casserole Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Season pork chops with salt and pepper and brown for 3–4 minutes per side.
Remove pork chops and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté sliced onion for 5 minutes until soft.
Stir in sauerkraut, apple juice, and caraway seeds.
Transfer mixture to a casserole dish and place pork chops on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until browned.
Serve hot.
