Philly Cheesesteak Garlic Bread Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, and 1/4 tsp kosher salt.
Spread garlic butter evenly over both cut sides of the bread.
Place bread on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, until lightly crisp.
Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Add onion and green bell pepper.
Cook for 4–5 minutes, until softened.
Remove vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
Add thinly sliced steak to the same skillet.
Season with 1/2 tsp kosher salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
Cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until just cooked through.
Return vegetables to the skillet and stir with the steak.
Spoon the steak and vegetable mixture evenly over the toasted garlic bread.
Layer provolone slices evenly over the top.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Broil for 1–2 minutes if a more golden top is desired.
Let rest for 3–5 minutes.
Slice into 8 pieces and serve warm.
