Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch glass baking dish with a small amount of melted light butter.
Pat flounder fillets completely dry and lay flat on a clean surface, presentation side down.
Divide crabmeat evenly into 8 portions.
Place one portion of crab near the wide end of each fillet and roll tightly toward the narrow end, tucking the tail underneath to secure.
Arrange rolls seam-side down in the prepared baking dish, fitting snugly in a single layer.
Drizzle melted light butter evenly over each roll, coating tops and allowing butter to pool lightly in the dish.
Cover loosely with foil and bake for 12–15 minutes until fish is mostly opaque.
Remove foil and bake an additional 5–8 minutes until edges are lightly golden and fish flakes easily at 145°F internal temperature.
Rest 3–5 minutes before serving and spoon pan juices over each portion.
