  • 2 cups King Arthur white whole wheat flour

  • 1/2 tsp Morton salt

  • 3 tbsp Land O Lakes light butter, softened

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened Mott’s applesauce

  • 1 large Eggland’s Best egg yolk

  • Hood fat-free milk, enough to make 3/4 cup liquid with yolk

  • 1 1/2 cups Kellogg’s Corn Flakes cereal, crushed

  • 8 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

  • 1/2 cup Swerve granular sweetener

  • 1 tsp McCormick ground cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp Land O Lakes light butter, cubed (for topping)

  • 1 large Eggland’s Best egg white

  • 1 tsp Domino sugar (for brushing top)

Thin Frosting:

  • 1/3 cup Swerve confectioners sweetener

  • 2–3 dashes McCormick vanilla extract
