Directions:
In a skillet, brown the breakfast sausage over medium-high heat.
Once cooked, remove excess grease, leaving about two tablespoons in the pan.
Turn heat down to low and add in the flour, stirring constantly until the flour has cooked out and the mixture is smooth.
Slowly pour in the milk and stir until the mixture has thickened.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot over warm biscuits or toast.
