Add optional salt and black pepper if using.
Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken, coating all pieces.
Cover loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove foil, spoon sauce over the chicken, and continue baking uncovered for 10 to 20 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Broil for 2 to 3 minutes if a deeper golden top is desired.
Remove from oven, rest for 5 minutes, and spoon sauce over the chicken before serving.
Serve 1 chicken breast with sauce.
