Prepare the Bread Machine:
- Make sure your bread machine pan is clean and the kneading blade is attached.

- Pour the warm water into the bread machine pan.
- Add the bread flour, sugar, and salt. Make sure the salt and sugar are in separate corners of the pan.
- Make a small well in the center of the flour and add the active dry yeast.

Select the Bread Setting:
- Place the pan in the bread machine and close the lid.
- Select the “Basic” or “White Bread” setting on your bread machine, and choose the crust color (light, medium, or dark).
- Start the machine.

Let the Machine Do the Work:
- The bread machine will mix, knead, rise, and bake the bread. This process usually takes about 3 to 4 hours, depending on your machine.

Cool the Bread:
- Once the bread is done, carefully remove the pan from the machine.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
