Easy Bread Directions:

  • Combine warm water and sweetener, ensuring the sweetener dissolves.
  • Add yeast to the mixture and let it proof until foamy.
  • Mix in the unsweetened applesauce once the yeast has proofed.
  • In a separate bowl, combine whole wheat flour and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  • Knead the dough for 3-5 minutes.
  • Place the dough in an oiled bowl, coating both sides with oil.
  • Allow the dough to rise for one hour.
  • After rising, deflate the dough and shape it into loaves.
  • Put the shaped dough into greased 2 bread pans.
  • Let the dough rise for an additional 30-40 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake the loaves for approximately 30 minutes.
