Crispy Parmesan Onion Rings Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.

  • Slice onions into 1/4-inch rings and carefully separate the layers.

  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, paprika, cayenne, and baking powder.

  • In a second bowl, whisk egg and almond milk until smooth.

  • In a third bowl, combine Panko bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.

  • Dip each onion ring into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, then into the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat the egg and breadcrumb dip once more for extra crispiness.

  • Arrange the coated onion rings on the prepared wire rack and mist lightly with cooking spray.

  • Bake for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
