Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a large pan on the stove, pour in the chicken broth, minced garlic, and onion wedges.

Place the chicken on top of the broth mixture and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for 20 minutes.

Remove the chicken, shred it, and set aside. Save the broth.

Melt the butter and pour it over the stuffing mix in a large bowl. Stir to combine.

In a separate bowl, mix the sour cream, reserved broth, and cream of chicken soup using a hand mixer until smooth.

Spread half of the stuffing mix evenly in the bottom of a 9x13-inch casserole dish.

Layer the shredded chicken over the stuffing.

Evenly distribute the broccoli florets over the chicken layer.

Pour the soup mixture over the top, spreading evenly.

Sprinkle the remaining stuffing mix over the top.

Bake for 30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
