Cinnamon Swirl Donut Bread Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan with olive oil spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine light butter and granulated sugar substitute. Mix until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add self-rising flour, alternating with the almond milk mixture, to create a smooth batter.
- In a separate bowl, mix half of the batter with the cinnamon to create a cinnamon-flavored portion.
- Pour half of the plain batter into the prepared loaf pan. Add half of the cinnamon batter in small dollops on top. Layer the remaining plain batter, then add the rest of the cinnamon batter in dollops.
- Swirl the two batters gently with a butter knife for a marbled effect.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While baking, prepare the topping by mixing melted light butter, brown sugar substitute, granulated sugar substitute, and ground cinnamon.
- Once the bread is done, let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Brush the melted topping mixture all over the top and sides.
- Slice and enjoy!
