Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch glass baking dish.

In a large bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, and melted butter until a soft dough forms.

Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the baking dish to form the crust.

Bake the crust for 12 minutes or until lightly golden.

Remove the crust from the oven and pour the caramel sauce evenly over the hot crust.

Sprinkle chocolate chunks and chopped nuts evenly over the caramel layer.

Return to the oven and bake for 10 more minutes until the caramel is bubbling and the chocolate is softened.

Remove from oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top. Let sit 2–3 minutes, then lightly spread with a spatula if desired.

Let the bars cool completely at room temperature. Cut into 20 even squares.
