Candied Bacon Crackers Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.

  • Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.

  • Arrange the crackers on the wire rack, leaving space between each.

  • Slice the bacon into thirds or fourths as needed to fit the crackers. Place a slice of bacon lengthwise on each cracker.

  • Sprinkle about 1 heaping teaspoon of brown sugar substitute on top of each bacon slice.

  • Lightly sprinkle cayenne pepper and black pepper over each.

  • Bake for 17 minutes until the brown sugar melts and the bacon is crisp.

  • Let cool completely on the rack before serving.
