  • 1 tbsp olive oil (Pompeian)

  • 2 tsp kosher salt (Morton)

  • 1½ tsp black pepper

  • 2 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup beef broth (Swanson 100% Natural)

  • ¼ cup tomato paste (Hunt’s No Salt Added)

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (Lea & Perrins)

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (Domino)

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2 bay leaves

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (Argo)
