Amish Cinnamon Bread Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9x5-inch (23x13 cm) loaf pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine applesauce and 1 cup of the sweetener until smooth. Add eggs and whisk well.
  3. Pour in fat-free milk and stir to combine. Gradually mix in white whole wheat flour and baking soda until the batter is smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining ⅔ cup sweetener with ground cinnamon.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pans, dividing evenly.
  6. Sprinkle ¾ of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter in the pans.
  7. Add the remaining batter to the pans and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture. Swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  8. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the bread to cool in the pans for 20 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
