Spread 1/2 cup marinara sauce over the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add the broken lasagna noodles in an even layer, overlapping as needed.
Stir together the part-skim ricotta cheese and 1/2 cup fat free shredded mozzarella cheese.
Sprinkle half of the cooked Italian sausage evenly over the noodles.
Dollop half of the ricotta mixture over the sausage and noodles, then spread gently.
Pour half of the remaining marinara sauce evenly over the top.
Repeat the layers with the remaining sausage, ricotta mixture, and marinara sauce.
Spread the sauce so all noodles are covered.
Sprinkle the remaining 1 1/2 cups fat free shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours, or until the noodles are tender and the edges are bubbling.
Turn off the slow cooker and let the lasagna rest, covered, for 15 minutes.
Scoop into bowls or plates and serve warm.
